Kinguin's newest member Dennis "dennis" Edman provided a short statement for HLTV.org, commenting on the uncertainty surrounding prize money.
As players from teams that are still in the competition wanted to play the rest of the tournament despite all the drama, organizers decided against cancelling the entire event.
One of those teams is Kinguin, who will play the upper bracket final against Titan in a couple of hours, whose Dennis "dennis" Edman took the liberty of providing a short statement for HLTV.org:
"We had a meeting with the organizer and he told us that he will fix the prize money. We really dont know what will happen with the prize money, but we will finish the tournament anyway.
We really dont know much about this at all, but we are here to play and that's what we're gonna do. The thing is that we have no other choice than to trust his word."
Titan's Cédric "RpK" Guipouy also talked to one of HLTV.org's members on site, stating that they will play the upper bracket final and "see what happens afterwards".
