I Got Game will be the Romanian representatives at World Cyber Games 2011, following their triumph in the Romanian qualifier, which took place this weekend.
32 teams had found their way to the Forte-Games in Constanta this weekend, where one team would end up booking a trip to Busan in December.
It came down to the top four seeded teams to duke it out which of the four would be going to South Korea. IGG took the first step of the way in the upper-bracket final with a 16-12 win against TeG on de_nuke. TeG then went on to lose 16-14 on de_inferno in the Consolidation Final against Earthquake, who prior to the match came with a 16-8 win over high.voodoo.
With the win against TeG, Earthquake qualified for the qualifier final against IGG, which started on de_tuscan. With a 11-4 lead in hand at halftime, IGG found no difficulties in picking up five rounds in the second half, with Earthquake scoring just seven, putting the final score at 16-11.
